A self-proclaimed food-pusher, I’ve been cooking for the ones I love for as long as I can remember. I am a classically-trained chef with experience with catering, private cheffing and food media. At present, my daily to-do list consists of cooking for my two hungry growing boys, and basically anyone else who will let me feed them. But enough about me, here, you looking hungry.

Here, have a cookie. Thank for stopping by my very tiny corner of the internet, I hope you stay awhile! I’ve always been the type of person that has recipes swirling around in my brain. I couldn’t recall a single password for any of my dozens of online accounts if my life depended on it, but my favorite tried and true pancake recipe? Yep, that I know. And now I want to share all of that chaos in my head with you, how special right?!
I got my start in food by disappointing my parents way back in 2008 when I bailed on a school psychology masters program to attend culinary school. I may still be paying off my loans from that one year program, but I can make a mean turkey, so I’d say it was worth it.
Although I tend to be a little bit extra in the kitchen, my style has changed significantly after becoming a mom of two
crazy angelic boys. We need tasty food fast, and for the love of all things holy, with as few dishes as possible. I hope you’ll follow along as a share some of my tried and true family recipes. Just so you know what you are signing up for, here are just a few of my favorite things in a very particular order: ‘good’ coffee, Parmesan cheese, fresh citrus, Tequila (duh, an obvious follow up to citrus), dark chocolate and olives.
